Training Overview
Aim: 
  • To explore ideas and techniques to engage with the community and enhance involvement.
Course Content: 
  • Assessing the level of involvement
  • Potential barriers to involvement
  • Creating an environment to encourage involvement
  • Methods of engaging with communities and organisations
  • Maintaining involvement
  • Devising a plan to enhance involvement.

Delegates will be asked to do a very short piece of course work that will take no more than 2 hours.

Duration: 
  • One day of training followed by another half day soon afterwards.
General Information: 

Interactive training course for up to 12 participants. Each participant will receive informative handouts, a college certificate and a training evaluation questionnaire.
