Training Overview:


Aim

To raise awareness of equal opportunities and diversity and enhance good practice.

Overview
  • Recognizing what is meant by equal opportunities
  • Reflecting on diversity within out communities
  • Raising awareness of discrimination and ways to challenge
  • Considering equal opportunities and young children
  • Promoting equal opportunities through play
Group work will give participants the opportunity to investigate practical ways in which they can build on current good practice in terms of equal opportunities.
Scenarios will be used to identify good practice.

Duration

2 sessions of two and a half hours each.
These can be run separately or combined into one whole day.

Training Method

Interactive training workshop for up to 12 participants.

Handouts will be provided which will summarize the basic points.

Each participant will receive a certificate and training evaluation questionnaire.
