Aim

To clarify the purpose of the Parents' Forum and enable parents to effectively work together to engage with the programme and other parents in the community.

Terms of Reference

Group work will enable parents to contribute fully and take 'ownership' of the Terms of Reference as they are developed during the course of the workshop.

Duration

Five sessions of two and a half hours each.
These can be run separately or combined.

Training Method

Interactive workshop with a mix of input from the trainer and discussion amongst the group. We will then type up and present the Terms of Reference after the workshop.

Handouts will be provided which will summarize the basic points.

Each participant will receive a certificate and an evaluation questionnaire.
