Training Workshops for Parents : Stress Busting
Training Overview:
Aim
To increase our understanding of stress and develop strategies to manage and reduce it.
Overview
- Define and understand stress
- Identify signs of stress
- Consider our personal reactions to stress
- Reflect on attitudes and lifestyles
- Identify stress relievers
- Devise personal action plans
Scenarios will be used to examine the effects of stress.
Duration
3 sessions of two and a half hours each.
These can be run separately or combined.
Training Method
Interactive training workshop for up to 12 participants.
Handouts will be provided which will summarize the basic points.
Each participant will also receive a certificate and training evaluation questionnaire.
